A custom foam insert can be a single tray as shown or laminated into tiers for a taller kit. Send a sample or the item dimensions and the sample room cuts the cavities and depths to your exact set.
Matte black EPE reads high-end and hides the box base, so the set is the first thing the buyer sees on opening. For a luxury kit the same die-cut foam insert can be velvet flocked or film-faced, turning a functional tray into a soft-touch presentation bed. The pockets hold each piece upright and staged, so nothing shifts in transit and the reveal stays clean.
EPE is an expanded polyethylene foam that is soft, resilient, and recovers after impact, so it cushions fragile glass and ceramic ware that a brittle foam would crack. It does not shed dust and will not scratch a polished, glazed, or glass surface. It is light and moisture-resistant, so the insert protects the kit without adding much weight and shrugs off damp transit.

Will it protect glass and ceramic pieces? Yes. The resilient EPE cushions drops and vibration and the non-abrasive surface will not scratch glass or glaze. We set the pocket depth and foam density to the weight and fragility of each item, which we confirm on the quote, for the best protection on courier routes.
Can I get a flocked or colored insert? Yes. The insert comes in black or a masterbatch color, and a velvet-touch flocked or film-faced surface upgrades it for a luxury gift box. Flocking and custom color add cost and a batch minimum, which we confirm with the quote.
What is a realistic order quantity? There is no strict minimum, but the die and foam setup spread over the run, so small batches cost more per piece and price drops with volume. Tell us your annual volume and we advise the break points.
